Audit

The audit log allows you to view the history of all moderator actions in your chat — from issuing bans to changing settings. It's a useful tool for overseeing your moderation team and resolving disputes.

How to Open the Audit Log

  1. Open the bot in Telegram
  2. Click the menu button and select "Audit"
  3. If you have multiple chats, select the one you need from the list

What's Displayed in the Log

Each entry in the log contains: - Who performed the action (moderator) - What was done (action type) - When it happened - Details: target user, reason, duration, and other parameters

How to Use the Log

Viewing All Events

By default, the log shows all actions in chronological order. The newest entries appear on the first page.

Filtering by Action Type

To see only specific actions: 1. Open the "All events" dropdown 2. Select the action type you're interested in 3. The log will show only entries of that type

Available filters: - User bans and mutes - Warning issuance - Report handling (complaints) - Settings changes - Trigger and command management - Protection mode activation (ReadOnly, RaidMode) - And much more

Searching the Log

Use the search bar to find actions: - By user name - By ban reason - By any text in the entry

Start typing — results will appear automatically after half a second.

The log is divided into pages. Use: - "←" and "→" arrows to move between pages - The page number field to jump to a specific page - Pages are numbered from zero (first page = 0)

Usage Examples

Check Who Banned a User

  1. Open the filter and select "User Ban"
  2. Use search by entering the user's name or ID
  3. Find the entry — it will show the moderator and ban reason

See Who Changed Settings

  1. Select the "Update Parameters" filter
  2. Entries will show which settings were changed and by whom

Track a Moderator's Work

  1. Use search by entering the moderator's name
  2. You'll see all their actions in chronological order

Find When a Trigger Was Created

  1. Select the "Add Trigger" filter
  2. Use search by trigger name

What Gets Recorded

The log automatically captures:

User Actions: - Bans, mutes, warnings - Restriction removals - Modifications to existing restrictions - User note creation

Complaint Handling: - Report submissions - Report approvals or rejections

Chat Management: - ReadOnly and RaidMode toggling - Channel bans - Settings synchronization - Any bot parameter changes

Automoderation Setup: - Trigger creation, modification, and deletion - Custom command addition and removal - API token management

Important to Know

  • The log is only accessible to chat administrators
  • Entries cannot be deleted or modified — this protects against history tampering
  • All actions are recorded automatically, no setup required
  • History is stored on the server and available at any time
