Beginner Moderator Guide

This guide will help you master basic moderation commands and learn to work with Imperial Guard.

Types of Punishments

The bot has three main types of punishments:

Warning (warn)

  • Issued for minor violations
  • Upon accumulating a certain number, a stricter punishment is automatically applied
  • Duration is configured by the administrator

Mute

  • Prohibits the user from sending messages
  • Can be temporary or permanent
  • The user remains in the chat and sees messages

Ban

  • Completely excludes the user from the chat
  • Can be temporary or permanent
  • The user cannot see messages or enter the chat

Additionally:

  • Note — service information about the user, visible only to moderators

Issuing Punishments

Basic Commands

Warning

/warn @user reason
/warn 123456789 reason

Reply to the violator's message and write /warn reason

Mute

/mute @user 1d reason
/mute @user reason (forever)

Duration is specified in interval format: 1h = 1 hour, 1d = 1 day, 7d = 7 days

Ban

/ban @user 7d reason
/ban @user reason (forever)

Note

/note @user note text

Deleting Message Along with Punishment

Add the letter d at the beginning of the command:

  • /dwarn — warning + message deletion
  • /dmute — mute + message deletion
  • /dban — ban + message deletion

Example:

/dwarn @spammer Advertising is prohibited

Tip: Instead of mentioning the user, you can reply to their message — the bot will identify the violator automatically

Checking User Information

/user — quick check

  • Active punishments
  • Message count
  • Current violations
  • Use for quick verification

/fulluser — full information

  • Everything from /user plus:
  • History of revoked punishments
  • All previous violations
  • Use for detailed investigation

/userreport — text report

  • Generates a file with full information
  • Shows complete message texts
  • Convenient for sharing with other moderators

/dossier — dossier with media

  • Creates a DOCX file
  • Includes media files (photos, stickers)
  • Most detailed report format

Removing Punishments

Via User Card

  1. Use /user or /fulluser
  2. Find the needed punishment
  3. Click the "Revoke" or "Delete" button

Revoking Punishment:

  • Removes the punishment's effect
  • Keeps the record in history
  • Can be restored later

Deleting Punishment:

  • Completely removes from history
  • Cannot be restored
  • Use carefully

Quick Commands

/unmute @user — remove all mutes

/unban @user — remove all bans

Important: These commands revoke punishments, not delete them from history

Useful Commands

/id — find out user or chat ID

/delete — delete a message (reply to it)

/readonly — enable/disable ReadOnly mode (read-only for everyone)

/raidmode — enable raid protection (auto-exclude new members)

Moderation Tips

  1. Always specify the reason — this helps the user understand what they violated
  2. Maintain consistency — issue the same punishments for the same violations
  3. Check history — view /user before issuing punishment
  4. Use notes — record important information about users
  5. Don't abuse privileges — remember that all actions are logged in the audit
